AJAGBA, OLA OLUWA LOCAL GOVERNMENT, OSUN STATE — Residents of Ajagba and other communities in Ola Oluwa Local Government Area of Osun State have expressed appreciation to Distinguished Senator Olalere Oyewumi, popularly known as Akogun, for facilitating the roofing of a block of classrooms at Baptist Day Primary School, Ajagba. The ongoing project is regarded by residents as a welcome intervention in the education sector, with the roofing expected to contribute to a better learning environment for pupils and improved conditions for teaching and learning.

The people of Ola Oluwa commended Senator Oyewumi for what they described as his outstanding performance across Osun West Senatorial District and his representation of the people of Osun State at the National Assembly.

They said the classroom project reflects the importance of investing in educational infrastructure and providing facilities that support the development and welfare of children in local communities.

The residents also expressed optimism about the senator’s political future, pledging their support for his re-election bid in 2027 in recognition of what they described as his contributions to the district and the state.

However, while appreciating the classroom roofing project, the people called on Senator Oyewumi to give greater attention to road construction and youth empowerment across Ola Oluwa and other communities within his constituency.

They stressed that improved road networks would ease transportation, support commercial activities and enhance access to essential services, while youth empowerment programmes could create opportunities for skills acquisition, employment and entrepreneurship.

The residents maintained that sustained development requires attention to education, infrastructure and the economic needs of young people, urging the senator to continue engaging with constituents to identify and address their most pressing challenges.

They expressed hope that the classroom project would be followed by further interventions capable of improving living standards and promoting development across Ola Oluwa and Osun West Senatorial District.
