OSUN APC GUBER CANDIDATE RALLIES PARTY FAITHFUL FOR TINUBU’S SECOND-TERM BID

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Ajagunle Fadeyi Olubiyi, has called on party members and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation and deliver massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. 

 Olubiyi made the appeal during the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign rally in Osun State, where he urged APC faithful to demonstrate their commitment to the President’s re-election through active participation and a strong turnout at the polls. He maintained that the political strength of the APC should be reflected in the number of votes it secures during the forthcoming presidential election.

The Osun APC governorship candidate stressed the importance of taking the campaign beyond political gatherings by engaging residents directly in their communities. He called on party faithful to mobilise voters, strengthen their grassroots structures and encourage eligible Nigerians to participate in the electoral process. 

 According to him, the party must translate its organisational strength and campaign activities into tangible electoral support when Nigerians head to the polls in 2027. 

 The PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign is part of broader efforts by supporters of President Tinubu to expand grassroots engagement and promote his second-term ambition ahead of the next presidential election. 

 In a related development, reports indicate that the Osun APC has mobilised 10,000 canvassers for a door-to-door campaign across the state’s 30 local government areas, with party leaders Adegboyega Oyetola and Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji among those associated with the mobilization effort. 

The initiative is expected to involve direct engagement with residents, presentation of the administration’s policies and mobilization of supporters ahead of the polls. 

With political activities gradually gathering momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, political parties and their candidates are stepping up consultations, public engagement and grassroots mobilization. 

 Olubiyi’s appeal adds to the growing campaign activities within the Osun APC as the party seeks to consolidate its support base and mobilize voters for Tinubu’s re-election bid. The coming months are expected to witness increased political engagement across Osun State as parties prepare for the next electoral contest.
