ERO ARIKE WARNS AGAINST AI MISUSE AFTER FAKE IMAGE SHOWS HER HUGGING GOVERNOR ADELEKE

By NaijaParrot October 16, 2026

OSOGBOs, OSUN STATE — Nigerian personality Ero Arike has reacted to an AI-generated image allegedly showing her hugging Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, warning against the use of artificial intelligence to create misleading content that could cause problems in people’s relationships. In her reaction, Ero Arike questioned the intention behind creating or circulating the image, expressing concern about how the governor’s wife, the First Lady of Osun State, might interpret it. “What do you want First Lady to say if she sees this? Don’t scatter people’s relationships,” she said.

Her comments highlight growing concerns about the misuse of artificial intelligence to create realistic but misleading images of public figures and other individuals. AI-generated images can make it appear that people were involved in situations that never happened. When shared without clear labels, such content can mislead viewers, damage reputations and create unnecessary tension between individuals.

Ero Arike’s reaction serves as a reminder that people should exercise caution when creating and sharing AI-generated images, particularly those involving public figures and personal relationships. Although artificial intelligence offers opportunities for creativity and entertainment, its misuse can have real-world consequences for the people depicted. Viewers are encouraged to verify the authenticity of images before accepting or sharing them as genuine.
